Description

A highly concentrated supplement of strontium, one of the most important elements needed for the growth of both hard and soft corals. This element supports the formation of coral skeletal tissue by improving calcium absorption. Because strontium is removed by skimmers and filtration media in closed aquarium systems, it is important to supplement this element regularly. The AF Lab Strontium formula has been enriched with barium to mimic natural seawater chemistry.

Use:

  • 10 ml increases the strontium level by 1 mg/l (ppm) in 100 litres (27 US gal) of water. 
  • Recommended level: 6.00 – 10.00 mg/l (ppm).
  • Recommended dosage: 0.5 ml/100 l (27 US gal) of water daily.
  • The maximum safe daily dose is 10 ml per 100 litres of water.
  • Dosage should be based on coral population and individual aquarium needs
